About Us

The Marsh Hospital for Animals has been serving the pets of Northern New Jersey since the 1950’s. From the earlier days as a rural mixed animal practice, the hospital has grown into a modern full care small animal facility. Led by Dr. Mark Milwicki since 1983, the practice continues its commitment to providing your pets with the very best in veterinary medicine while fostering a friendly and warm environment

Your pet will receive the finest, most state-of-the-art medical care when he or she comes to Marsh Hospital for Animals. Our hospital is well-equipped to handle most forms of surgery, from routine spay and neuter operations to advanced orthopedic surgeries. Advanced diagnostic procedures, such as ultrasound and endoscopy are provided by visiting specialists, while digital radiology and the most comprehensive laboratory services in the tri-state area enable us to diagnose your pet quickly, accurately and safely.

At the Marsh Hospital for Animals, each individual patient has its own personal health record, which is kept up-to-date in our Avimark computer program and contains a complete medical and surgical history of your pet. In addition, we have a complete pharmacy so the most commonly used pharmaceuticals and vaccines are on hand when your pet needs them.

In our hospital, surgery is performed in a specialized room that is only used for surgery. Proper lighting, aseptic procedures and easy access to drugs and equipment all help assure your pet of the best possible surgical care. Proper dental care is important to your pet’s health and well-being and, if neglected, can often be the cause of serious illness. At the Marsh Hospital for Animals, we perform dental prophylaxis using high speed and sonic instruments, keeping your pet’s teeth clean and healthy.

Many of the items you need for your pet like food, shampoo, treats, and medication can be purchased while you are visiting our facility.
